| I’ve had a two pairs of Red Wing boots re-soled. Both times, the
company ground off the old sole and glued a new sole onto it.
For the folks that have shoes re-done, is this typical how it’s done?
I can see where fixes the problem, and much easier than totally replacing the original sole,
but the sole ends up a lot thicker, and does not fit into pull over boots nearly as well.
