Stanley, Manitoba, Canada | Putting together a few new Topcon systems (X25/35 and AGS-2) with a used Trimble NetR9 base. We've come across a bit of a strange situation.
If the base is running before starting up the Topcon receiver in the tractor the receiver never gets to RTK fix. You can see it is receiving correction data as the message number continues counting up and the message age is usually around a second. If you reboot the base (or turn it on after the receiver in the tractor is running) the receiver in the tractor fixes on RTK right away.
Running RTCM3.3 correction with various compatible radios. Have tried different levels of MSM messages with no change. If we swap to our older Leica base (still using the same radios) it works with no issue, though obviously using fewer satellites for the correction as it's only running RTCM3.0.
Any ideas of things to try?
