se montana | Run as fast as you can from the Deere track machine, I spent almost 8 years fighting mine, the track tensioner system is a joke,it’s like a receiver hitch that slides in and out to adjust track, after some time, those surfaces wear out and the track won’t hold tension squarely, and it throws tracks left and right.
I had to pull mine apart twice and welded new plates in there , it’s a major job and hugely miserable. Mine also ate idlers on a regular basis, which requires pulling the track to replace. Wife and I had some of our worst fights while working on Deere tracks.
Wiped out two final drive planetaries, and the hydraulic pump needed replaced (wouldn’t build spec pressure). when I sold it,
There’s no better machine on the market for hydraulic capacity than the Deere, but the track system is junk.
Mine was purchased with 2000 hours, and I sold it in the 4000 hr range.
