This is half that length and I'll hopefully have another robot and be around 300 feet in 5-10 years. Cow brush, water and no dead end alleys at the far end would all help. Multiple robots per group is nice for robot issues because cows can go to other one but at some point it becomes hard to find fetch cows because group is too big. I think 3 robot group and 300 feet is fine but I've never seen bigger than that in person.

Edit: visit farms and ask questions. It's best if you can see something similar to what you're wanting to do and make little tweaks rather than just doubling what you saw somewhere. My robot sort and handling area behind robots is what makes my barn work well for me.
