IN | I’m doing a plot this year that will hopefully have some side X sides of Brevant, pioneer, Dekalb, Agrigold, LG to see what stands the mark. No idea on the Brevant numbers in the plot yet need to contact my dealers and see what they are going to throw at it. I too wanted some Brevant but it’s was non gmo, B10A20 but the germ was bad is the reason I couldn’t get any of it. Also had a non GMO number of Agrigold in the 108 maturity that got canned from the germ test. Agrigold allowed us to pick any seed we wanted traited or not to replace it with at same cost. Thought that was a pretty good deal really. Replaced it with 643-52 which was an excellent yielder and grain quality last year. I’ve been hearing the germ story from multiple companies this year having issues so might check your tags over well and make sure they aren’t less than 95% | |
