Wabash county,Il | I have no history in or with a robot facility but have been with milk cows my 50+ years. I wouldn’t think the 350’ would be to far but that is considering there is not other factors restricting it. My concern would be would they want to travel that far from the robot. Where would feed,water,stalls, other amenities be within the barn. If it’s just a row of stalls that ends on a dead end with no reason to travel that far except the last available stall then that last 50-100’ would not be well used. If there is water and perhaps a rubbing brush mounted at the end that would help draw traffic throughout. | |
