Well, were cow/calf guys making 4-800/hd on their calves in 5 years ago or were margins a lot thinner? I background calves in a feedyard, and have run them on grass the last few years also and I know most of the money I have made is in the market running between buying the calves and when I sell them. In "normal" times there may be a 10-15 cent move in the market.
Can you convert $350 rented ground to grass
