Idaho | How would one check voltage feedback from the autosense?
There is a sporadic steering sensor low voltage warning. The wiring looks ok but it does pop up once in a while.
The tractor does not steer at all when doing deadzones. It just gets to 37% or so then fails. Next time I'm out I'll try the slew test. It does not seem to me like the valve is responding at all when doing the deadzones or enabled and trying to get on a line.
I see an entire replacement valve is over 9K for a reman. Maybe I'd be better off finding a used trimble autopilot valve or something? I'm not too familiar with the steering system on this tractor (upgraded from a panther iii) so maybe thats not even possible.
I'd like to maybe find a pinout for the NavII and do some wiring checks with an ohmmeter to rule out the possibility of a wiring problem before getting into the valve. Am I on the right track here?
Thank you for your response!! | |
