| I used to work for Brevant in Iowa. 11C37 was a big footprint style of hybrid. Very agronomically sound (great on drought, stalks/intactness, emergence, solid disease package, etc.). It did seem to get out-horsed in the ultra-high yield environments but had a much higher floor than racehorse hybrids when it came to yield potential. Not a hybrid that would paint a really colorful yield map, just steady and consistent. I used it in the north on acres that used to be 12C01 and got along great with it as it performed better in poorly drained soils than 12C01. I wouldn't be afraid of planting 11C37. | |
