The 2 inch rock is the perfect size to get stuck in a cows hoof so that is a hard no. Our local quarry has a product they label 63s. 3/4" stuff on down. Order it with extra dust, lay it over geotextile fabric 6" thick after packing and you will have some poor man's concrete.
Do it right and use a little care when cleaning it off and it will last a long time.[/
