A neighbor comes and gets my little 1" 2 stroke water pump that we use to pump duck blinds out with. He made a suction hose that screws right to the hydrant and waits for the pump to suck the air bubble out of the line. I think you can still get them for less than $100 and they will pump a little mud if that's what is causing your line to have issues.
