west-byGod-Pa. | I think about 1905, a man on a freight wagon was hauling dynamite through Washington, Pa. On his way to gas wells. It blew. Almost nothing of him, the horses or wagon was found. I need to research that & write down the specifics.
When I was 3 or 4, I stood at a window & watched as a man installing a septic tank for my father ignited dynamite to blast a rock in the way. About a 100 feet from the house. A cold of dirt slammed the glass but did not break it. Scared me though. | |
