NEW YORK | I also thought that was wooden tongue as soon as I looked at the photo. I had never seen it before but I had a cow with it about 10 years ago.
A little research and I came to the conclusion that it was wooden tongue. When my vet came out I told him it was wooden tongue. He looked at me like I was nuts, he had never heard of it before. He went back and looked it up, came back two days later and we iv’ed it with sodium iodide. Cow calved another 7 or 8 years after that.
