Sloan Express has the box raider. Looks a little cheesy to me but it’s also the cheapest I have seen at $650

Several places sell the Box Bullet. I don’t like that it pulls from one side instead of from the center but it looks like it works. Second least expensive at $750. They sell a holster for $75 to help you store it neatly on your forklift. Same unit works with both Milwaukee and Dewalt batteries. I’m leaning towards this one currently despite pulling from the side:

EasiOpen box opener is another option. A bit more expensive. I see them several places for $1,000. Thought I saw one place for $800 but I can’t find it now. My seed dealer uses them. Here’s one place that sells them:

Any other good choices?

Anyone get the Box Bullet and feel like it was cheesy or unreliable? Did it have problems due to pulling from the side?

Thanks

Hey, We are the MFG. of the Box Bullet. Just a few quick notes for you. Pulling from the side is not an issue, as it is still a straight pull, not pulling diagonally. There also isn't much side to side play in the slide gates. It is specifically designed to be easily switched between the buckhorn and orbis boxes, as the bottom frame dimensions are different on the 2 styles of boxes. It stays locked tight on the box while shaking the box with a forklift to get the seed off the rails. It is backed by a full 18 month factory warranty. As stated by another customer, there's no issue installing the Box Bullet while on the ground as long as you're using a 6ah or smaller battery, which covers majority of the common batteries. Oh and it also take either a dewalt, or milwaukee style battery interchangeably, so no issues if you ever switch brands, or loan it out. Definitely get the holster as well if using with a forklift, gives it a great spot to keep it, otherwise it ends up riding behind the seat, with potential to fall off. Have a safe spring!
