We recently bought a STX 430 that is autoguide ready I believe. All the cabling was there for the NAV II controller and steering angle sensor. Here’s what I’ve done so far.
Installed NAV II under buddy seat
Ran hybrid cable from up on the roof through what I believe is a port replicator cable and then into the back of FM1000.
Stuck Ag25 antenna on the roof and cabled it to FM1000
Installed power cable to FM1000
Installed autosense sensor
Selected the stx430 .vdb file in the nav configuration
Everything turns on and seems to work fine, but the tractor does not steer. It will let me engage the auto pilot, but does not make any steering corrections. All of these components I took off of an MX 240 that has a trimble auto pilot valve.
