| More than likely the instrument panel is corroded. The warning lights are divided into groups. There are lines around each group. They are either gray or gold in color. If gray the instrument panel cannot be repaired. If gold in color the panel can be sent to Ag-Express to have it checked out. They will not repair panels with gray lines.
If you have a friend with a JD of the same vintage or they have an LX or LS New Holland skid loader you can ask to plug their panel into your machine. The panel does not need to be installed in the loader, just plug it in.
We have sold NH instrument panels to people with JD loaders. Keep in mind since the engines are different the senders may have different values and may not show exactly the same values.
Before doing anything, be sure the correct start procedure check list is done. With the key in the off position watch the instrument panel as you sit in the seat. When you sit in the seat the instrument panel lights should light up and do a self check. Then all the lights should go out except for the seat belt and park brake. Fasten the seat belt and the seat belt light should go out. If all this happens as stated, the safety system is operating correctly and the engine should crank when the key switch is moved from the off position to the start position.
