I have what you would describe as severe allergies. We looked at the CX-5 with 16000 miles and loved it. Got it and smelled the cigarette smoke. Got out already had itchy eyes and sore throat. Dealer said they thought they could get rid of the smell but we declined. I had a Ford Ranger that the guy smoked in and had it cleaned, ozoned and cleaned. Nothing worked for more than a short period of time. We have and ozone generator that we used in our former rental house. We ran it non stop for days and after a time we could still smell cigarette smoke. I wanted a good used Toyota rav4 with leather seats and less than 30,000 miles. I wasn't real fussy about the year. Then this Mazda CX-5 2022 came along with all the features and we thought it was okay. There are rav4's with 36,000 miles or so that are maybe 2 years old that people are asking as much as a new rav4. I see they have been asking that for months. I'm about to start looking for a 2004-2006 Buick Le sabre with low mileage again. Not so much electronics and I have a great guy who can fix these. One must exist somewhere. |
