Seeding grass into rye CC up here hasn't worked well, one dries up the soil, two is the allelopathic effect of the rye. Worst stands of grass have always come after rye, if they establish at all. This would be mainly native species warm and cool season. If you were to seed into it, id recommend spraying it out now and seed.
