Southern Missouri | We’re enjoying a beautiful spring here so far , but it’s not seasonal depression it’s price depression, cotton price currently averaging near the same as it did from 1980 to 1985 , the expenses sure aren’t anywhere near the same as 1980 to 85 , everyone that can switching to another crop but many here have many dollars in cotton equipment or rent from the cotton people and it’s either plant cotton or give up the ground , the pretty weather hasn’t helped this issue much | |
