Big Corn has the right answer... Drilled 13 wells for a site many years ago , wound up putting 3 wells together 3/4 mile away to get the quantity needed. Son needed new well for building site, first hole no dice. 60' away and 120' deep for hole #2 has more water than the above 3 wells together. First 2 wells of the 13 were over 900' deep, 600' into the bedrock- trying to keep it close. I would recommend finding water before getting too far down the construction route.
