Free choice corn with a pellet balanced out to around 14% protein will put a nice pasture fed finish on them. Just feed them hay free choice until the grass greens up then they will gladly switch to grass. My brother has done a number of freezer beef that way and they were excellent eating. Don't ask me about turning heifers into cows though...
