I can honestly say ive never heard of head or cam issues? We've had a pile of 12.5 engines, couple sets of injectors and couple sets of cups is honestly all we have done. Just put a set of injectors in last spring at 8500 hours which I didn't think was too bad, 6-10,000 hours on all the ones we have/had. I'm a fan of the 12.5 but the tractors just don't do what we need them to anymore
