Your absolutely right, but if you don't pull the drain plug once a year you don't know how long it's been seeping. O-Rings on the sleeves, Electrolysis, Head gasket, Water pump,(not on 855). I have had this happen on a engine setting over the winter I would have never found the issue if I didn't pull the plug. I got maybe a table spoon out of the pan.

There is no right or wrong answer to the authors question only suggestions and testimonies.


Oil sample would show antifreeze.
