#1 most new combines are made to burn up before 3000 hrs. Different engine might lower that number. (sorry but they burn too easy) #2 Most combine engines have more life than the machine including the 13.5. #3 throwing large amounts of money at wore out machines make no sense #4 Little preemptive Maintenace most engines including the dreaded 13.5 will run 6-10000 hours. water pumps at 1000 hrs , cups maybe same .
