what is your water ph and how much citric acid are you adding. I've used brandts indicate 5 with good results

It has been quite awhile since we had a functioning pH meter. Water is probably around 8. We have been using 1.25ml of granular citric acid/US gallon of water. Probably gets the pH down to 5 or so.
