He didn't ask a practical question.
He asked an impractical and cost-prohibitive question.
JD has Cummins engines in their 2 biggest 4wds.
Their failure rate/cost is just as high as JD's.
One more thing about this brainstorm. Your JD engine blows up in harvest. Just go park it in the weeds till you have 2 months to devote to this project?
And shell out $100,000 to 300k for another combine in the meantime?
. There you go defending big green again. Ok let’s a use a Cat engine then like a B model and drop that into a Case IH combine. Is that a real scenario then? lol.
