1800 is newer than 2600 but will not create a map capable to exporting to a computer. 1800 paints the screen blue and does totals, but does not make a map
Nothing wrong with a 2600, only issue there is on the monitor you can only set the crop season to 2024 at the highest year. Almost any computer mapping program can fix the incorrect year
