Paxton, IL
A 3185 would be a great machine for a "smaller" farmer. I had a 3150, which is the smaller brother to a 3185. While it had it's limitations, I really liked the machine. The biggest things I didn't like about it was it was a little under powered if you were in soft ground and had any hills. Also sometimes you could really notice that it was a lighter weight machine as the 90' boom and solution sloshing around in the tank could really move the machine around and make it hard to stay in the rows at times. I always thought a 3185 would be a significant improvement over the 3150 for those reasons. I probably still wouldn't want much more than a 90' boom for those machines and getting around some smaller fields too.
