southern MN		In my area they tried sunflowers back in the 70s. A buyer or coop promoted it and saw a lot of fields that year.

Haven’t seen any since.

It didn’t work well. I’m not sure what all the problems were.

I’m sure a lot has changed in 50 years on breeding and fungucides and all. So no idea these days.

Seems optimistic to double crop in my area.
