I’ve heard of a guy down in southern Iowa that took decent ground and sowed it to rye/cc and actually runs feeders to fat on it supplementing them with ration in feed lines on the perimeter. Supposedly makes more $$/a than just cash cropping. I could probably get his number for you if I made a call…..
