West Central MN | Since I own one of every opening disks Shoup sells, can confirm the White 9000 P/N SH70776 is 15.75" in diameter and designed my wear gauge around it.
For the disk cutting into the guard see two possibilities:
1. Do you have 8000 row units that use a 15" disk and using the larger diameter 15.75" disk from a 9000 creates the interference?
2. Are the guards from a 8000 on a 9000 row unit?
