What Happens to Monster Fats in a Market Downturn?

Looking at local results for some time now 1750 to 1800+ lb. Holsteins $1.90, 1500 lbs $1.80; all well finished.
What happens if the market falls back? Will heavy cattle be discounted more than more traditional weight finished critters?
Extremely heavy cattle used to be hit hard at the sale. Have packers changed their facilities to make heavier carcasses more efficient to process?
