Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio | Owned or rented ground? If you own it 30 years doesn’t seem like then end of the world. When lime was hard to get I spread a lot of “dust”. Had pieces the size of fingernails. Everyone kept telling me it would take 30 years to break down. I just applied about 150% of recommendation. I have a landlord that says his dad plowed down a bunch of 57s size limestone fifty years ago. I can’t see any of it in his fields.
But….. if you paid for ag lime and paid someone to spread it that’s not OK. Maybe ask for ask for free application of half rate before planting this spring.
