indiana | “Biological destruction in the top 8” of soil”? Do you have definitive proof of this? We’ve used nh3 all my farming life, 40 years or so. Our corn yields continue to go up. I have no proof but I’d guess when I apply nh3 I’m rough on an area similar to a soft ball, not 8”. So a million pounds in an acre furrow slice ? I’m not denying biological damage, but in the big picture it isn’t much. And I would argue healthy soil will replace that biology quicker than you suggest. Otherwise my corn yields should be going down instead of up. I appreciate your desire to maintain soil health. | |
