I would go at least 10 feet, maybe 12, building would be more user friendly and valuable going forward. Still a few tie stall barns being built in Wisconsin, additions but also remodels, especially Mennonites. Seen alot of barns with comfort tie stalls, most all coming from freudenthal manufacturing in Wis.
