#1) There's a lot of CoC grown around here.
#2) While hog manure is a very good fertilizer, it comes with a lot more inconsistencies (both application and analysis) than any commercial form of N. I would suspect that covering those inconsistencies is where a lot of CTN's yield increases from cutting manure and adding some commercial N have come from.
