Many years ago in a soils class we were told that plants only take up nitrogen in one form and that is NO3. It doesn’t matter if you start with anhydrous, AMS, 28 or urea it all has to convert to N03 in the soil before the plant can take it up.
Does corn benefit from multiple types of N ?
