Fly ash is the name given to the very fine material that is removed from the exhaust stream going up the stacks of the coal fired plant. It is technically a coal ash but there is also the bottom ash or clinker. Both can be used in making concrete. Don’t know for sure if there would be a difference in rare earth concentrations between the two.
