Pat, don't be any hurry to come back. As nasty a day as I have seen in a long time.
Find your way to Pima Air Museum at Tucson. A day when we were there a 95 year old pilot was talking. He had flow B-25 as pilot in command 75 years ago at 20 years old.
There is an Air Force boneyard across the road from that museum. All manner of planes there from just stored to being shredded. If a person was to walk the perimeter fence, you would walk 11 miles.

Too late with the advice to stay in AZ, as I am sitting in a hotel by the Des Moines Airport right now. I decided to spend the night here instead of driving into a bad blizzard at night. No snow here but it was very windy and was kind of scary landing.

The Pima Air Museum and the boneyard is definitely on my bucket list.......hopefully next year.
