deep SW On. | At one time I thought Visa,ect. would not allow a cash purchase to be different than a CC one.
Now a lot of business' have a 3% or so surcharge if you pay by CC to off set CC charges
So far no surcharge on Debit payments as fees for them are very low. Preferred over cheques and some places even cash
Interesting is many places ,toll roads, ect. do not have attendant and only take plastic cards
Companies getting tired of eating the cash back/CC charges.
My Dad would be lost today, born in 1924 ,never had a cell phone,CC,debit card, computer. Always paid everything by cheque or cash | |
