| Dad wasn't cheap just thrifty. Saved where he could and didnt buy what you dont NEED. he grew up without, so anything you really had was a blessing
Post sports practice I would walk home 4 miles down the RR tracks. Generally walked to school same way. Thought nothing of it. Dad was working and so was mom so either bum a ride or walk.
miss him everyday. if just to ask his thoughts hard times make hard people and Dad had a basic hard way of looking at things. He built a farm from not much. | |
