We were only allowed to blow our nose in one corner of the kleenex
Mom used to use her index finger like a spatula to get every bit of the white from the eggshell
When crossing the state line on a trip to visit relatives a big sack of oranges were to be confiscated. We parked the car and mom peeled every one and we ate them before we crossed.
Any one else’s dad as cheap as mine?
