Western Oregon | My son does that when he is ready for some big purchases. He never closes a card, just stops using it, then cuts it up. Uses the new one until the next one. We just have the 1 Visa card since we got married 50 years ago, too old to mess with all this new stuff. We did use the GM card for years. We traded for a new vehicle every 5 years rotating a car and pickup, each kept 10 years. We have never paid interest, ever. Now we use a debit card from the local credit union for local, hardly ever use cash. No change to mess with....James | |
