SW OH | We had a 15 year old work on the farm for us. He lived 3 miles away but it was a long distance call. When it was time to go home he would make a person to person call using his dad's name.
The last 3 times we changed the opener blades on our planter, they came from a neighbors scrap iron pile.
A guy I went to kindergarten with lived maybe 6 miles from town. He would walk past the farm to town to go to the bar. The bar was next to Dominos pizza. When it was time to go home he would call from the bar and order a pizza. Then walk next door and hitch a ride home with his pizza.
