And the 2 times I remember going to Michigan to visit one of dads Army buddies, we'd pull into a grocery store when it was time to eat. Mom would go inside and buy a loaf of bread, a package of bologna, some chips, and we'd eat lunch in the tailgate of the station wagon in the parking lot. This would have been the mid 70s. | |
