YES.
Growing up outside Baltimore, a phone call TO Baltimore was cheaper than a call FROM (Dad's business line), so we were told to listen and not pick up until after the 4th ring.
If a call came and rang less than 4 times, we were to call back to Dad's shop in Baltimore, Dad needed to get ahold of us.
Any one else’s dad as cheap as mine?
