North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast | It has been a while since I saw a news report on the military unit composed of young gamer geeks developing drone technology for military use.
There was mention of bomb carrying capabilities, chemical spraying, surveillance,etc.
The story was centered on the geeks using game boy type consoles to fly drones as big as a VW beetle to the smaller ones that can fly into an open car window while moving. One of the boys bragged he could fly one anywhere in the world from the base in Jersey area.
It was a short story focused on youth opportunities in modern military. They kind of skipped past the bomb and surveillance part of the story. |
