Used to not have a choice around Peoria or quad cities.
I always take 280 towards Champaign, Peoria depends on time of day. Took me over three hrs to get through Peoria in 1980, before 474 with construction over IL river bridge and accident on bridge. Not me, just stuck in bad spot. (The things you remember)
