Missouri | This post might step on some toes, but the industry is currently churning through female vets that can't hack it right now. The wave of recruitment the last 15 years swamped the system with women that had small animal dreams and they're now having to fall back on trying to hack it out in the real world with large animals.
I say this as someone who has a female vet as his first call in an emergency, but she grew up in the real world and they're not all like that. The industry being stuck with a bunch of people who concentrated on pet work and glazed through the industry work is causing a mess. The repro side of the industry is rolling through them so fast it's insane and hell of a lot of customers are funding an experiment they didn't sign up for. |
