southern MN | My description never really matters. I’m usually ‘a farmer’ but sometimes I’m a simple dirt farmer….
The reactions are the fun part. To be honest I rarely get outside of this rural community, or a similar place where everyone knows farming pretty well.
The few times otherwise, it’s funny how folk struggle to relate. Been told a couple times they try to eat organic…. As ‘a farmer’ they can relate to for the moment and talk normal with, I must be the organic person on 7 acres they read about, and not the corporate factory farmer they also read about…..
When of course I am somewhere in between.
